Look! I dropped my training wheels! My first portrait completely from my imagination! No reference! 

Here’s the thing. I finished up the face and hair and t-shirt, and it looked so plain. So I figured, hey. Mirror! And there it is. (The title of this doesn’t sound quite so mystical now, does it?) 

Specifics:
Time taken: Around 4-5 hours

Stuff I used: HB click pencil, 5H, 2H, HB and B graphite pencils, kneaded and hard erasers, blending stumps, tissue, and some 30STM. 

Size: Around 34X28 cm.

The speed video’s in progress and should be up by tomorrow. I’m kind of juggling between the desktop and dad’s laptop. Long story.

@alt-4326 and chrysamere : Unfortunately, I noticed the eyes being way too high only after finishing most of the face! :(

Thanks for the comments, though. I’ll keep that in mind on my next one. :)

Yes, graphite glare again. Really need better lighting! X(
